I had corned beef and it was delicious! Coffee was good. They were fast and efficient. Most definitely a great spot to catch up!
I had just come to the beach and only had a Danish and coffee for breakfast so I needed something, on a wim ran In and ordered this wonderful salad. they don't substitute, although I will say everything is super fresh and made to order. All the patriots were regulars, you could tell. Restaurant was quiet & super clean. if possible I'd love to grab breakfast there in the morning b4 we head for the airport. Definitely a hidden gem.
This is a gem of a place. Inexpensive, super food Great breakfast. And they now automatically bring the vinegar for fries hash browns and mashed potatoes!
I love this place, good value and good food and if you want to socialize a bit and sit after you get your meal they don't rush you out the door. takes credit cards too. and near the L train for the redline CTA as well as bus service

A truly accessible daytime food spot located on a busy street corner a block away from a Red Line stop (Thorndale), this place has got your breakfast and lunch needs til 3pm. With plenty of seating and natural daylight peeking in through the many windows, the Little Corner makes for an ideal stop for a nice group or solo meal. The seating inside has a number of booths, along with a diner bar area centralized in the middle of the restaurant. While the space itself is small, it does not get too busy, at least in the afternoons during the week. This is the no-frills spot in Edgewater you've been looking for! And if you're not a fan of dining in, they have takeout as an option as well! The price is just right with whatever you order, in my opinion. If you're looking for breakfast food items, I highly recommend the very filling Gyro Omelet. Coffee is real good here too! The waitress was very attentive and generous with her pours It's so refreshing to walk into an establishment that does not try too hard to wow you with flashy entrees; with Little Corner Restaurant, you're getting food made with love every time.
I thought this restaurant was pretty good! No GF bread, so you know that's an automatic loss of a star... Anyway, I like the ambiance. It looks like it hasn't been updated since maybe the 70's and it's awesome! There's a huge counter to sit at, as well as a few booths on the outer perimeter. It's small, and I bet it gets pretty busy, so maybe try to go on an off time? The server was incredibly nice and sweet, and attentive. We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and I'm glad we did.
